We are seeking an IT Support Specialist to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to provide technical support and assistance to end-users in a timely and efficient manner. The ideal candidate will have experience troubleshooting hardware and software issues, configuring computers and peripherals, and managing user accounts.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide first level technical support for hardware and software issues
  • Respond to service requests and resolve technical issues in a timely and efficient manner
  • Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software applications
  • Troubleshoot network connectivity and performance issues
  • Manage user accounts, including creation, deletion, and modification
  • Collaborate with other IT staff to resolve complex issues
  • Document and track all service requests in the ticketing system
  • Provide training and support to end-users as needed
  • Conduct regular maintenance tasks, including backups and updates
  • Maintain inventory of hardware and software assets

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
  • 2+ years’ experience in an IT support role
  • Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, Office Suite, and other common business applications
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues
  • Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy and Exchange
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Willingness to learn new technologies and stay up-to-date with industry trends
